How Can severe Tooth Pain Be Treated?

I have a lot of pain in my tooth. My dentist told me that the tooth is beyond saving and needs to pull. I have an appointment for Monday afternoon. I have antibiotics but the pain is very present. What kind of pain killer(s) can I take before my appointement?

Hi...

Welcome to healthcare magic.

As per your complain you have problem of severe toothach. More carious involvement of tooth or pulpal pathology or any periapical lesion or abcess can lead to tooth pain.

X ray(IOPA) of affected tooth is helpful for further diagnosis. Treatment plan is depend on a cause.
If infection is present than antibiotics can start under doctor's suggestion.
Consult a dentist for a treatment.
Take care.
Thank you.
